Are the winds shifting toward Chris Ivory in Jacksonville?
As this season has worn on, the Jaguars have slowly been working Ivory into the offense to the point that he now looks like the top back in this offense. Incumbent start T.J. Yeldon has gotten just 12 carries for 45 yards over the past two games while catching two passes for 9 yards.
Ivory has gotten 16 carries for 80 yards and one score while catching four passes for 6 yards in that same span. It will be interesting to see how the Jaguars divide up the snaps Thursday when they face the Tennessee Titans.
Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Yeldon as the 29th-best running back in Week 8. He faces a Titans defense allowing the eighth-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season.
With no clear knowledge of how Jacksonville will divide up the carries this week, it is hard to play either Yeldon or Ivory in fantasy this week. Keep Ivory on the bench.
