Tennessee Titans running back DeMarco Murray left Thursday Night Football against the Jacksonville Jaguars after suffering a foot injury. The team announced that Murray was questionable to return to the game, but he did return in the third quarter.
The injury occurred during a 19-yard run by Murray. He left the field immediately after and headed to the locker room with a member of the Titans’ athletic performance staff.
The Jaguars have been unable to stop the run, and the Titans have put up a total of 135 rushing yards against Jacksonville so far. Before the injury, Murray was responsible for 82 of those, plus a touchdown and one 5-yard reception.
The Titans took a 27-0 lead into halftime, and the Titans finally got on the board in the third quarter with a touchdown and a successful two-point conversion.
