Jordan Reed injury update: TE questionable for Washington, fantasy owners [Update]

It looks like Jordan Reed could make his return in Week 8 after suffering another concussion.

Editor’s update: Reed is ACTIVE for Week 8.

Washington is listing Jordan Reed as questionable for their Week 8 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Reed is still dealing with a concussion discovered in Week 6, which led to him missing the last two games. He was able to practice in all three sessions this week, so it looks like there is a good chance he is active on Sunday.

Do not be surprised, however, if Washington plays it safe and holds him out before their bye in Week 9. Reed has a history of concussions dating back to his college days, and losing him for an extended amount of time would cripple Washington’s struggling offense.

In five games this season, Reed leads all Washington receivers with 33 grabs to go with 316 yards and two scores.

Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Reed as the 13th-best tight end in Week 8. He faces a Bengals defense allowing the third-most points to fantasy tight ends over the last five weeks.

As long as Reed is active, keep him in your starting lineup.
