Washington is listing DeSean Jackson as questionable to play in Week 8 vs. the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jackson continues to be plagued by a shoulder injury that has not cost him any games this season. However, the injury and his age (turns 30 in December) are making Jackson look like a shell of himself on the field.
Last week against a bad Detroit Lions secondary, Jackson caught only five passes for 35 yards. In seven games this season, the veteran receiver has 27 catches for 368 yards and one touchdown.
It has gotten to the point Jackson is worth cutting from your fantasy team.
Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Jackson as the 31st-best receiver in Week 8. He faces a Bengals defense allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to receivers over the last three weeks.
That’s not a good matchup. Even if you do keep Jackson on your roster, you should keep him on the bench and hope he gets healthier with Washington’s Week 9 bye coming up.
