After a bit of a slow start to the 2016 season (seven touchdowns, eight interceptions in four games), Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston seems to have settled down and it has led to some more impressive performances (four touchdowns, one interception in last two games).
Winston has only had one game this year with over 300 passing yards, but he has thrown at least three touchdowns in three of his seven games this season.
Fantasy Impact: Sunday’s matchup with the Oakland Raiders may be Winton’s best shot at having a monster game in 2016.
The Raiders defense is giving up the most passing yards per game (302) and the sixth most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this year. Three different quarterbacks have finished with at least 350 passing yards against Oakland’s defense in 2016.
Yahoo! thinks Winston will throw for 274 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception versus the Raiders on Sunday. With a number of quarterbacks on a bye this week, the Bucs’ quarterback may be a good option for fantasy owners in need of some help on Sunday.
