Heading into last Sunday’s games, there were a few fantasy owners that were questioning whether they should keep Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones in their lineup. Twelve catches, 300 yards, and one touchdown later, any doubt about Jones for 2016 was completely erased after his monster performance last weekend against the Carolina Panthers.
Jones has a tougher matchup in Week 5 against the Denver Broncos, but he is the type of player that could explode for a big day no matter who he is facing.
While they may not put up the type of numbers like the Falcons’ receiver did last Sunday, a few pass catchers such as Travis Benjamin (vs. Raiders), Emmanuel Sanders (vs. Falcons), and Sammie Coates (vs. Jets) all have favorable matchups this week that could give them an opportunity to finish with an impressive day.
Fantasy owners should be cautious of not falling in love with a few receivers that put up bunch of fantasy points last week. Will Fuller (vs. Vikings), Eddie Royal (vs. Colts), and Brian Quick (vs. Bills) could all potentially be in line to have an off week.
