The Detroit Lions are listing Marvin Jones Jr. as questionable vs. the Philadelphia Eagles. He is dealing with a foot injury, but is expected to play Sunday, according to Detroit Free Press reporter Dave Birkett.
The fifth-year receiver missed Wednesday and was limited Thursday before practicing fully on Friday. He should be good to go and keep getting the majority of targets in Detroit’s pass-happy offense, which has made him one of the NFL’s best fantasy receivers this season.
Through four games, Jones is the third-leading receiver in terms of fantasy scoring. He has caught 23 passes for 482 yards and two scores.
Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Jones as the 10th-best receiver in Week 5. However, he will face an Eagles defense allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to receivers this season.
That is still not enough to debate starting Jones this week. Keep him in your lineup for the foreseeable future.
