Not many could have predicted that a rookie wide receiver would be among the Tennessee Titans’ top pass catchers in 2016, but Tajae Sharpe is doing just that. In his first NFL season out of the University of Massachusetts, Sharpe is currently second on the team in catches and receiving yards after four weeks.
But the one thing that has still remained out of Sharpe’s grasp so far this season has been his first touchdown catch.
Fantasy Impact: This week may be as good a shot as any for Sharpe to get into the end zone when he and the Titans match up against the Miami Dolphins.
Through four games in 2016, the Dolphins are giving up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. In the past two weeks, Miami has allowed an opposing pass catcher to gain at least 140 yards receiving.
Yahoo! thinks that Sharpe will finish with just four catches for 51 yards on Sunday. But based on the way the Dolphins pass defense has been performing lately, Tennessee’s rookie wide receiver could provide some solid value for fantasy owners looking to add a spark into their lineup this week.
