The Miami Dolphins are listing Arian Foster as doubtful for their Week 5 matchup with the Tennessee Titans. The veteran running back is recovering from a groin injury that sidelined him for the past two games.
Foster suffered the injury in Week 2 and missed the next two games while not practicing at all. He did practice in a limited capacity this week, but it was not enough for the coaching staff to feel comfortable with playing him Sunday.
Given Foster’s history of being injury-prone, fantasy owners no longer need to keep him if there are better options on the waiver wire.
Fantasy Impact: While Foster is out, the Dolphins are using a committee of Jay Ajayi, Isaiah Pead, Damien Williams, and Kenyan Drake. None of those guys are worth playing at this point, which is why Foster is still worth rostering if you have enough running backs to get by.
Foster is still easily the best back on this roster and should get a good workload once he returns.
