Harrison Barnes just learned why they call Kawhi Leonard 'The Claw'

Leonard just wanted it more this time.

Kawhi Leonard didn’t get his nickname, “The Claw,” for no reason. Just as Gary Payton earned his title as “The Glove,” Leonard has made a name for himself with his unrelenting effort on the defensive end.

On Monday night, the Spurs forward reminded the NBA, specifically Mavericks wing Harrison Barnes, why he earned that nickname. The steal helped propel San Antonio to a win over a depleted and floundering Dallas team.

It could be worse, though. Barnes isn’t the first player to fall prey to Leonard’s man hands. Just look at what he did to Ben McLemore.
