Kobe Bryant seals Lakers' win on vintage fadeaway as part of season-high 38 points

The 37-year-old made seven threes as the Lakers beat the Timberwolves.

Kobe Bryant has some life left in him, yet. He was superb against the Minnesota Timberwolves, scoring a season-high 38 points as the Los Angeles Lakers ended a 10-game losing streak with a 119-115 win.

Bryant played an efficient 33 minutes, shooting 10-of-21 from the field and 7-of-11 from beyond the arc. The shooting guard also grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists.

The Lakers had a double-digit lead going into the fourth, but gave it up quickly with Bryant on the bench. The Timberwolves fought back and even took the lead just after Bryant reentered the game with six minutes to play. Bryant nailed two threes to snag the lead back for the Lakers, though. The Timberwolves stayed in it down the stretch.

With the Lakers clinging to a one-point lead with less than 30 seconds to play, Bryant did what he does best: he hit a huge shot to seal the win.

Bryant sunk six free throws down the stretch to ice it for good as MVP chants emanated through the stands.

Bryant won't have many more nights like this, so cherish him while he's still around.

Here's one more glance at the beautiful shot that iced it.
