The 2016 NBA All-Star Game will take place in Toronto from Feb. 12-14. Festivities will take place at the Air Canada Centre, home of the Toronto Raptors. TNT will televise every key event (Rising Stars Challenge, All-Star Saturday night and the actual game), while ESPN will televise the Celebrity Game.
Events kick off with the Rising Stars Challenge at 9 p.m. ET on Friday night. The game will again pit a team of rookies and sophomore from the U.S. against a team of rookies and sophomores from the rest of the world. Toronto native Andrew Wiggins won the game's MVP last season and will return to the contest this year.
All-Star Saturday night will kick off at 8 p.m. It'll include the 3-Point Shootout and Slam Dunk Contest as usual, but several other format changes have been made. The Shooting Stars competition has been scrapped and the Skills Competition will feature big men and guards competing against each other.
The NBA All-Star Game will take place at 8 p.m. ET on TNT. Kobe Bryant's farewell is expected to be the dominant storyline, as will the play of Toronto's own Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan.
Here are the participants for all the key events at All-Star Weekend.
