The Onside Kick Family Hour: Mo Wilkerson & the Jets, Elway the GM & a special guest!

Stephen White and RVB are joined by a very special guest this week, Tyler Tynes, who gets us up to speed on the Will Smith murder trial in New Orleans. Also, why the hell are the Jets ignoring Mo Wilkerson? We're also questioning John Elway's skills as a general manager in light of the Von Miller standoff.

It's a long one this week, but trust me, it's worth every second of your time. Stephen and I are joined at the 38:40 mark by SB Nation's very own Tyler Tynes.

Here's how the show breaks down this week:

Why are the Jets being so stupid with Muhammad Wilkerson? Seriously. They used the franchise tag to hang onto a guy who's been one of the best defensive linemen in all of football (28.5 sacks over the last three years; three missed games, that's it). But now, they won't even talk contract with him. This one is going to end up costing the Jets on the field when Wilkerson's gone.

Von Miller just might hold out. We're getting to that point. He said he's not going to play 2016 on the franchise tag, but the Broncos, knowing full well what the going rate is now for the best of the best pass rushers in the NFL, don't seem to be in any hurry.

John Elway's looking outmatched as a GM. But Stephen said best: ""Homie, you've got Mark Sanchez slated to start for you this year. You better have a fucking Von Miller on your team."

Please welcome Tyler Tynes! Tyler's been back and forth to New Orleans lately covering the trial of Cardell Hayes in the shooting death Will Smith, which is getting more and more plot twists thrown in it every time someone goes to court. He walked us through the ins and outs.

Tyler, an Eagles fan, also gave us the low down on why that team is going to be so good this year, in his opinion.
