HERE COME THE TRADES

Is it just me, or is this NHL draft week 10 times busier than in previous years? We're a handful of days out from the draft, and we've already seen plenty of pending free agents moved before July 1. Yesterday offered up four trades for our network to react to.

Trade No. 1

The Maple Leafs traded two draft picks to Anaheim for pending-RFA goalie Frederik Andersen, who they then signed to a five-year, $5 million-per contract.

The Florida Panthers traded for the rights to sign pending UFA defenseman Keith Yandle. In return, the Rangers got a sixth-round pick and a conditional fourth.

The Sabres keep stockpiling college talent. This time, they traded for 2016 Hobey Baker winner Jimmy Vesey. He wouldn't sign with the Predators. It doesn't sound like he's signing with the Sabres. Just trade him to the Bruins and get this over with.

Trade No. 4

The Coyotes traded a guy to the Sharks. The Sharks now have one more guy than they had before. This has been my trade analysis on sports dot com.
