The Miami Marlins continue to do things a little differently -- and that's carrying down to their players. Now the organization's No. 4 prospect Stone Garrett finds himself on the disabled list because of his teammate.

Josh Naylor (the Marlins' No. 2 prospect) is known to be a bit of a prankster. Over the weekend this escalated into Naylor cutting Garrett with a knife in what's being described as a "knife prank." Garrett required three stitches in his right hand.

What is a knife prank? Frankly, we have no idea. Obviously it's a prank involving knives, but how ...

  • Knife pranker suspends knife attached to rope, which is tied to a bucket of water above a door. Knife prankee opens door, gets stabbed.
  • Knife pranker dresses up like Ghostface from Scream. Pops out of closet at knife prankee, who gets stabbed.
  • Elaborate Rube Goldberg machine is set up by knife pranker. Final marble flips a knife off a table which results in knife prankee getting stabbed.
  • Ashton Kutcher hides knife prankee's car. He gets upset after leaving practice and finally finds it parked down the block where Kutcher screams "PUNKED!" Knife pranker hops out of back seat and stabs knife prankee.

Let this be a lesson for the kids out there: Don't prank your friends with knives.
