US Olympic swimming trials 2016: Time, TV schedule and Friday events for Team USA

USA Swimming will be wrapping up its Olympic trials soon, but on Friday all of the "big four" -- Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, Katie Ledecky and Missy Franklin -- will be in action.

Friday's events at the USA Swimming Olympic trials include the men's 50-meter freestyle and 100-meter butterfly prelims and semifinals in addition to the 200-meter backstroke and 200-meter individual medley finals. On the women's side, the 800-meter freestyle and 200-meter backstroke prelims and semifinals will go down in addition to the 200-meter breaststroke and 100-meter freestyle finals.

The action on Friday will begin bright and early at 11 a.m. ET with the first of three blocks of coverage. That first block will last through 2 p.m. and will be streamed online. The second block, also containing prelims, will begin at 6 p.m. and run for two hours on NBCSN. The third and final block will contain semifinals and finals and will run from 8 to 9:20 p.m. on NBC.

All of Friday's action will be live streamed via NBC Sports, with links available below. Only the first blow will be untelevised, but the stream will be available.

Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, Katie Ledecky and Missy Franklin, the "big four" of USA Swimming, will be in action in various events though all four have already qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics in various events. Phelps is in for the 200-meter butterfly, Lochte qualified for the 200-meter freestyle relay, Franklin is in for the 200-meter freestyle and Ledecky has qualified in both the 200- and 400-meter freestyle events.

Phelps and Lochte will be taking part in the 200-meter individual medley on Friday, with the event being Lochte's last chance to qualify for an individual event. Franklin will be participating in the 200-meter backstroke prelims and semifinals. Ledecky will participate in the 800-meter freestyle prelims and semifinals as well as the 100-meter freestyle finals.
