Colts punter Pat McAfee seems to get hit with a lot of random drug tests from the NFL, leading us to believe the tests aren’t really random at all.
McAfee tweeted Monday that, after a 67-yard punt in preseason action against the Buffalo Bills, he arrived at the Colts’ facility Monday morning and was greeted by a drug test notice in his locker.

This isn’t the first time McAfee has been singled out for a "random" drug test. On April 20, a day that holds special significance for those who enjoy smoking marijuana, McAfee’s tweets apparently got the NFL’s attention.
I can't celebrate this particular day..But I know a large % of my followers are..So happy laughter day 2 those of u snacking at a hefty rate

I imagine Colorado being a bit foggy today.

The NFL responded accordingly.
When you tweet on 4/20.. Can't make this up pic.twitter.com/6hoasLoGML

The league also took notice when McAfee laid this hit on then-Broncos return specialist Trindon Holliday.
McAfee can’t even tackle somebody without the league assuming he was fueled by some sort of banned substance.
Guys... Make one random tackle... And end up on a "Random" steroid test.. Must be my bod #UpperBodyOfAnAdolescent pic.twitter.com/s9B7LrS89Y

It’s worth noting that the outcomes of all of these random drug tests must not have revealed anything problematic, because McAfee has never been issued league discipline for violating its substance abuse or PED policies.
