It was Friday night when people first noticed that Colin Kaepernick wasn’t standing for the national anthem. Since then there has been a firestorm of opinion as people reacted to his protest. Many claimed that Kaepernick’s decision to sit was disrespectful to those who protect America. Some of those soldiers responded on Tuesday night.
Don't use my service--or that of any veteran--to justify the silencing of black Americans. Not on my watch. #VeteransForKaepernick
