Miles Chamley-Watson began fencing as a way of staying out of trouble as a child. Today, as we stand in the current of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Watson tries not to be swept away by the expectations that come with being part of Team USA Fencing. After walking away from the 2012 games empty-handed, Watson and the US Fencing team have saved space in their luggage for some 2016 hardware.

We take a step back and dive deep into Watson's grueling training regimen as he prepares to chase gold at the 2016 Olympic Games. Focus, dedication, strength, drive, is it enough? The 2012 Games in London were an invaluable learning experience and left Watson with a burning desire to become the best. A day in Lower Manhattan at the Dogpound with Watson gave us a glimpse into what it takes and all that goes into being an Olympian for the stars and stripes.
