Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas was seen grabbing his hip and grimacing in practice Wednesday, according to Broncos’ beat writer Cameron Wolfe. Thomas suffered a bruised hip early in the first half of Denver’s season-opening win over the Carolina Panthers. He was able to play through the pain Thursday night. The three-time Pro Bowler got positive news following an MRI of Friday, received treatment over the weekend and rested Monday. Thomas is expected to take the field for the Broncos’ Week 2 meeting with the Indianapolis Colts.
Fantasy Impact: This Thomas injury was interesting. Speculations early were that it could but serious, but now it seems that Thomas may be good to go Sunday. It's still hard to tell if Thomas can play through the pain in Week 2. The Broncos and owners should remain hopeful. If Thomas can go, he has a favorable matchup facing a Colts secondary that was carved up for 340 yards and three touchdowns in Week 1.
