Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 2: Tyrod Taylor looking to rebound vs. Jets

After a breakout 2015 season, Tyrod Taylor was viewed as a sneaky-good fantasy quarterback this year, but that was far from being the case in Week 1.

The Buffalo Bills will look to reignite their offense when they host the New York Jets on Thursday night. That will require Tyrod Taylor to get back to what we saw he could do in 2015, when he became an elite fantasy quarterback option when healthy.

However, Taylor and the Bills offense were suffocated by the Baltimore Ravens last week. Taylor finished 15-of-22 passing for 111 yards with 11 rushing yards and no touchdowns.

That was among the worst lines of any starting quarterback in Week 1, but he now gets to face a Jets defense that can be exposed. Against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Jets surrendered 366 passing yards and one score.

However, New York allowed just 23 points, had seven sacks and forced Andy Dalton into one interception.

Fantasy Impact: Taylor’s matchup with the Jets has led to him being the 26th-ranked quarterback by Yahoo! this week regarding fantasy projections. They see Taylor throwing for around 211 yards and one touchdown to go with 28 rushing yards against New York.

That would be good for around 16 fantasy points, which is a terrible number for a starting quarterback. Avoid starting Taylor this week at all costs.
