Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 2: LeSean McCoy an intriguing play vs. Jets

LeSean McCoy dominated the Jets in their Thursday night matchup in 2015. Will he do the same this year?

LeSean McCoy will look to bounce back from a so-so Week 1 showing when his Buffalo Bills host the New York Jets on Thursday. McCoy showed flashes of his superstar self against the Baltimore Ravens last week, but finished with just 58 yards and one score on 16 carries to go with four catches for 12 yards.

The Bills offense was an unmitigated disaster, but McCoy was one of the few bright spots. He now gets to face a Jets defense that he sliced and diced in his one matchup with them in 2015. McCoy finished that game with 112 rushing yards on 19 carries along with five catches for 47 yards. That game also happened to be a Thursday Night Football clash.

Fantasy Impact: As bad as the Bills offense was last week, McCoy remains a viable play vs. the Jets. He is the 12th-ranked running back by Yahoo! this week in terms of fantasy projections. They see McCoy having around 67 rushing yards, 17 receiving yards and no touchdowns against New York.

While that would be a decent line, McCoy’s upside is much higher in this offense, so keep him in your starting lineup this week.
