Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 2: Eric Decker remains solid contributor

While he will rarely have monster games, Eric Decker consistently does enough to be a solid producer on your fantasy team.

The New York Jets still want Eric Decker to be a focal point in their offense, but will it be enough for him to be fantasy relevant?

Against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, Decker got seven targets, but caught just two passes for 37 yards and one score. The Bengals secondary is one of the NFL’s best, so maybe this was just the exception and not the kind of season Decker is going to have.

Decker will now go against a Buffalo Bills defense that allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to wide receivers in 2015. In Week 1 vs. the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo allowed the 15th-most points to receivers.

Fantasy Impact:

Decker’s matchup with the Bills has led him to being the 20th-ranked receiver by Yahoo! this week in terms of fantasy projections. They project Decker to catch five passes for around 62 yards and no scores.

While that is not a great line for one of your receivers, Decker’s history as a consistent fantasy performer dictates you keep him in your lineup.
