The Buffalo Bills are listing Sammy Watkins as questionable to play Thursday vs. the New York Jets.
Watkins, who underwent offseason surgery to repair a stress fracture in his foot, was limited to four catches for 43 yards on six targets in Week 1 vs. the Baltimore Ravens.
It was later revealed that Watkins was playing through pain and discomfort in that foot, which could cause him to miss multiple games if surgery is performed on it.
Fantasy Impact: A healthy Watkins is always worth starting in your fantasy football league, but his questionable status and lingering foot issue has his stock dropping fast. Watkins is the 25th-ranked wide receiver by Yahoo! this week.
While his Week 1 performance was nothing to get excited about, Watkins still has too much upside in this offense to keep on your bench if he plays. Keep him in your lineup for the time being.
