Chris Hogan injury update: Patriots WR questionable vs. Dolphins, fantasy value rising

Chris Hogan had a great Week 1 debut in New England, but a shoulder injury has him questionable to face Miami this week. We break down the fantasy implications.

The New England Patriots listed Chris Hogan as questionable to play against the Miami Dolphins. He practiced fully on Wednesday and Thursday before being limited on Friday.

A minor shoulder injury is causing Hogan to be on the injury report, but it looks like he will play Sunday. He is coming off a nice debut in New England, catching three passes for 60 yards and one score on four targets in a win over the Arizona Cardinals.

With Rob Gronkowski questionable to play this week, Hogan could be a sneaky-good wide receiver for your fantasy team.

Fantasy Impact: If Hogan does play and Gronkowski is out, the veteran receiver should be a solid receiver play this week. Keep track of the inactives list for this game and treat Hogan like a WR3 for your fantasy team if Gronk is out.

If Gronk does play, he probably will draw too many targets to make Hogan an effective fantasy play.
