The Tennessee Titans have ruled out Kendall Wright against the Detroit Lions. The team is hopeful Wright can return to practice next week, according to TitansOnline.com reporter Jim Wyatt.
A hamstring injury has cost Wright most of the past two months, including training camp and all four preseason games. He practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday, but did not practice Thursday or Friday.
In the process, Wright has fallen behind Tajae Sharpe, Rishard Matthews, and Andre Johnson in Tennessee's wide receiver pecking order. Injuries are killing what once looked like a promising NFL career for Wright.
Fantasy Impact: Wright has no value on any fantasy team for the time being. The Titans’ lack of established wide receivers in this offense does make him an interesting option if he ever gets back on the field.
For now, do not bother rostering Wright in any league. He may not even be in the top three of the receiver rotation when he does return.
