Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 2: Jimmy Graham still unlikely to be a factor

Seattle’s top tight end is still recovering from a knee injury that cut his 2015 season short. We explore the fantasy implications.

Seattle Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham used to be one of the, if not the, best at his position in the entire NFL. But a trade to Seattle and a season-ending knee injury in 2015 has brought Graham back to down to earth.

The Seahawks seem to be bringing their veteran tight end along slowly this year as he only played in 17 snaps during their Week 1 game against the Miami Dolphins. Graham’s numbers versus the Dolphins were certainly not worthy of a spot on a starting fantasy team as he finished with just one catch for 11 yards.

Fantasy Impact: Graham may become a viable option for fantasy owners at some point this season, but he certainly is not at this point. Seattle’s tight end should see his snaps increase this weekend against the Los Angeles Rams, but it still should not be enough to make an impact in a fantasy lineup.

Yahoo!’s projection for Graham this week of two catches and 25 yards give even more of a reason for fantasy owners to not remove him from their bench.
