Kelvin Benjamin's wild one-handed grab only proves how much the Panthers missed him last year

The Carolina Panthers made it all the way to the Super Bowl in 2015, but there was always something missing — a big play receiver. Now Kelvin Benjamin is back, and making his presence known.

Early in the second half Benjamin took over an entire drive, including this absolute gem of a catch that — let’s face it — Benjamin made way more difficult than it had to be. Cam Newton threw a pass on a dime, but it careened off Benjamin’s hands. Normally it would have fallen to the ground, but he kept his composure and pulled it back in.

The next passing down Benjamin casually hauled in a touchdown.

The Panthers are right. On this one drive he contributed three catches for 48 yards and a touchdown. The Panthers are back in their happy place.
