Editor’s update: Adam Schefter is reporting Marshall is expected to be active, but on a snap count. The weather is not cooperating as well, which might impact the snap count further.
The New York Jets are listing wide receiver Brandon Marshall as questionable to face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3. Head coach Todd Bowles said Marshall will likely be a game-time decision, according to New York Daily News reporter Manish Mehta.
Marshall injured his knee during an ugly takedown against the Buffalo Bills last Thursday. He was writhing in pain on the field following the tackle before leaving to have his knee examined.
The 11-year pro did return and help lead the Jets to a convincing win, but he is now in danger of missing this week. He did not practice Wednesday or Thursday before getting a limited session in on Friday.
In two games this year, Marshall has caught nine passes on 17 targets for 133 yards.
Fantasy Impact: Marshall is still a WR1 when healthy, but this injury has him very questionable to play on Sunday. If he does go, start him in all fantasy leagues, but be prepared to play someone else if he is inactive.
