When Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill faces off against the Cleveland Browns this Sunday, he will be attempting to throw for over 300 yards in back-to-back games for the fifth time in his career. He certainly has a good shot to do so against a Browns defense that has allowed each opposing quarterback they have faced this season to throw for at least 275 yards.
Fantasy Impact: Last week against the New England Patriots, Tannehill ended the day with 387 passing yards and two touchdowns. His passing yardage total was the third most he has ever thrown for in his five-year career.
It seems like Tannehill could be the latest quarterback to succeed under the guidance of Adam Gase. The Dolphins’ current head coach was formerly the offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos, where he worked with quarterbacks Jay Cutler and Peyton Manning respectively.
Yahoo! has Tannehill ranked as their seventh best quarterback option for Week 3, projecting the Miami signal-caller to finish with 274 yards and two touchdowns against Cleveland. He could be a good option this Sunday for fantasy owners who are unhappy with the play of the starting quarterback in their current lineup so far this season.
