The Jacksonville Jaguars are listing running back Chris Ivory as questionable to play in Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens. Head coach Gus Bradley said Friday that Ivory should play on Sunday, according to NFL.com reporter Marc Sessler.
Now in his first year with the Jaguars, Ivory is recovering from an "an emergency medical condition." that hospitalized him in Week 1. He missed Week 2 as well before returning to practice this week.
Ivory has yet to play a game for Jacksonville after signing with them in free agency this past offseason. He was going to challenge the enigmatic T.J. Yeldon for the starting job, and may still do so with Yeldon struggling.
Fantasy Impact: Yeldon has been ineffective in two games without Ivory, who figures to get a lot of touches this week to ignite Jacksonville’s 30th-ranked rushing offense.
Even so, Ivory is not worth starting this week, and Yeldon is a low-end flex play in PPR leagues.
