In his second NFL season, Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker had quite the 2016 debut last week against the New England Patriots. Parker finished his first game of the year with eight catches for 106 yards on 13 targets.
The Dolphins’ receiver was limited in practice this past week with a hamstring injury, but is assumed that he will be in the lineup for the team’s Week 3 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
Fantasy Impact: After tying for the team lead in targets last Sunday, there is no reason to think that Parker cannot do the same during Miami’s game this weekend against a weak Browns secondary.
In two games this season, Cleveland is allowing opposing receivers to average 14.4 yards per catch. Parker is more than capable of taking advantage of the opportunities that the Browns’ defense could give him on Sunday.
Yahoo! is projecting the receiver to end up with four catches for 64 yards and one touchdown this weekend. He is at least worth the consideration to man the flex slot in his fantasy owners’ lineups on Sunday.
