Laquon Treadwell has not adjusted to the NFL quite as fast as the Minnesota Vikings had hoped. After a so-so preseason, Treadwell was listed as a backup for Charles Johnson on the Vikings' new depth chart.
The 23rd overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, Treadwell was expected to at least be Minnesota' No. 2 receiver, but has struggled to pick up the NFL level of football. He caught just six passes for 61 yards and no scores in four preseason games.
Treadwell has also had to deal with major changes at quarterback. He went from Teddy Bridgewater to Shaun Hill due to Bridgewater's injury, and now has to develop chemistry with Sam Bradford.
Fantasy Spin: This is likely going to be a rough rookie year for Treadwell, all things considered. If he can eventually pass Johnson as the No. 2 receiver next to Stefon Diggs, the rookie could become a decent fantasy option.
But until then, Treadwell is not even worth a roster spot on your bench.
