Sam Bradford quickly learning Vikings offense, could become fantasy relevant

We break down the fantasy implications of Sam Bradford learning the Vikings offense quicker than expected.

We may see Sam Bradford on the field sooner than expected. Bradford has "done really well" in learning the Minnesota Vikings playbook, according to ESPN reporter Britt McHenry.

McHenry adds that "all options still available" regarding Bradford playing in Week 1. The Vikings were expected to start Shaun Hill at quarterback vs. the Tennessee Titans. However, Bradford's quick assimilation of his new offense could get him on the field in Week 1, even if it's not as the starter.

It's possible Hill gets that nod, but Bradford gets put in if the offense is struggling.

Fantasy Spin: With no clarity as to who the starter will be or who will play the most, neither of these quarterbacks is worth playing this week. However, seeing Bradford already getting his new playbook down bodes well for his chances of starting in Week 2.

That would make having Bradford on your roster in deeper fantasy leagues a viable option. He'll have decent upside in this offense, but not enough to make him more than a QB2 for your fantasy team.
