The Tennessee Titans will not have Kendall Wright in Week 1. Head coach Mike Mularkey said Wednesday that Wright was out against the Minnesota Vikings, according to TitansInsider.com reporter Terry McCormick.
Wright missed most of training camp and the preseason with a hamstring injury. He re-injured it on Aug. 29, which is why he is set to miss Week 1. Wright has been a productive receiver when healthy and playing in a competent offense, but injuries have derailed his career recently.
Wright set career lows last year in games played (10), receptions (36) and receiving yards (408). He has missed eight games since 2014 due to injury, including six last year.
Fantasy Spin: Wright has fallen out of favor in this offense, but he could still become relevant if he just gets healthy. For now, Wright is not even worth a roster spot in any fantasy league.
