Buccaneers’ desperation last play had 10 laterals, took 43 seconds, and went nowhere

All that for a loss of two yards.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Buffalo Bills in Week 7 but had one last chance to attempt a play that needed to travel 69 yards to the end zone. It did not come close despite 10 laterals on a play that took a total of about 43 seconds to finish.

It was both a completely ineffective waste of time and an impressive game of keep away. At the end of it all, the Buccaneers lost two yards on the play and that means it most definitely deserves the “Yakety Sax” treatment.

The game didn’t go the way Tampa Bay hoped it would, but at least the team gave us a great moment.
