Fog started rolling into Gillette Stadium in the second quarter of Falcons vs. Patriots, and it’s not clearing up.
It’s 99 percent humidity in Boston, and the temperature is in the mid-50s. Those are prime fog conditions, and it shows.
It hasn’t slowed the Patriots down even a little bit. They’ve established a 17-0 lead over the Falcons with just under two minutes to play in the half. Maybe the fog has something to do with it.
Bill Belichick uses fog to get Patriots receivers open.

My column:
The folks at Gillette Stadium are having some fun with it.
Appropriately enough, "Smoke On The Water" plays at Gillette Stadium during the break. #Patriots #entsports

The fog just got heavier in the second half.
NBC even had to change their camera angles to because it got to be too difficult to see the action on the field.
And people on Twitter had jokes.

We’ll see if it clears up, but it doesn’t look like that’s happening anytime soon.
