JuJu Smith-Schuster doesn’t even have his driver’s license yet, so he rides a bike everywhere he goes. That bike got stolen last week. So Smith-Schuster celebrated his 97-yard touchdown against the Steelers by locking up the stationary bike on the sideline.
He already had one bike stolen this week. Why risk another?
Smith-Schuster’s long touchdown play came on one of very few perfect passes from Ben Roethlisberger. It was the longest passing play in team history, according to the Steelers.
It’s been a good week for Smith-Schuster. He’s having a heck of a game, and his bike was returned to him unharmed.
Smith-Schuster won’t have to rely on his bike for much longer. Al Michaels said on the Sunday Night Football broadcast that the rookie will go with teammate Alejandro Villanueva to take his driver’s test this week.
