Washington wide receiver Maurice Harris didn’t wait long to submit his effort for best catch of the day against the Vikings.
With Vikings cornerback Trae Waynes draped over him, Harris extended his right arm out, and Kirk Cousins’ pass fell right into his fingertips for a touchdown.
The play was initially ruled incomplete, but after review, officials granted Harris his first NFL touchdown.
Harris was brought up from the practice squad yesterday, and within the first five minutes of the game, made a catch of a year candidate.
That’s one way to make sure you stay in the NFL, because even some of the league’s best can’t make that catch if you give them multiple opportunities.
