The Seattle Seahawks already entered Monday without Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor, and lost Shaquill Griffin, who was sent to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion.
With so much of Legion of Boom out of action, the Atlanta Falcons aren’t having much trouble finding big plays early.
First, it was Julio Jones doing his usual acrobatics on the sideline for a big first down.
Then, it was Mohamed Sanu hauling in a one-handed touchdown pass on the same sideline.
Neither were blown coverage and both were contested catches, but the early connections led to a 14-0 lead for the Falcons in the first quarter and don’t bode well for Seattle’s chances to stop Jones and Sanu for the rest of the game.
