Myles Garrett is having a good week at the combine so far. After 33 reps on the bench press on Saturday, he wowed again with his 40 time on Sunday morning, running an effortless 4.64.
That’s pretty fast for a guy who’s 6’4, 272 pounds. It was faster than all of the draft’s top quarterback prospects.
DeShone Kizer, Notre Dame: 483
Deshaun Watson, Clemson: 4.66
Mitch Trubisky, North Carolina: 4.67
Patrick Mahomes II, Texas Tech: 4.80
Davis Webb, California: 4.79
His 40 time was better than a total of seven running backs who ran the 40 on Saturday.
Take a look, you can see the kind of explosiveness you like in a pass rusher.
The best thing a player can do at the combine is not screw up his draft stock. Garrett, a potential No. 1 pick this year, is doing exactly that.
The Browns are certainly noticing, or at least the person running their Twitter account is noticing.

Cleveland’s infatuation can only mean one thing: The Browns are definitely drafting Mitchell Trubisky with the first overall pick in the draft.
