Following the unexpected trade that sent quarterback Brock Osweiler from the Houston Texans to Cleveland, Browns general manager Sashi Brown seemed happy.
Well, it seems like Brown isn’t necessarily thrilled about acquiring Osweiler, which isn’t that surprising because he didn’t pan out in Houston. No, instead, Brown is really pumped about that 2018 second-round pick Cleveland got in the trade:

“We’re really excited to acquire a second-round draft choice in this trade,” Brown said.
His comment on Osweiler was kind of an afterthought.
“We are intent on adding competition to every position on our roster and look forward to having Brock come in and compete,” Brown said.
The Browns hold three first-round picks and five second-round picks, including the one acquired from the Texans, in the 2017 and 2018 drafts. That probably is more exciting than the prospect of Brock Osweiler starting for the Browns next year. Just ask Texans fans.
