The Indians keep getting robbed by the best center fielders in baseball

Kevin Kiermaier made an amazing catch, and it might not be the best catch made by a Kevin against the Indians this month.

The Indians are the defending AL pennant winners, and they have a fine team. They are also cursed, and future generations will wail in torment by mere association. There is video evidence below.

Last week, Jose Ramirez hit a ball to deep center that no mortal should have touched. Kevin Pillar jumped through a portal to get it instead.

Then over the weekend, Byron Buxton forgot the limits of physics and the human body to make this catch:

It ranks among the best catches you’ll ever see. It was one of the best catches the Indians saw that week, at least.

Now, on Wednesday, we have Kevin Kiermaier scaling a tall Progressive Field wall to bring back what was going to be a sure home run:

I mean ...

The Indians are probably mumbling something about things happening in threes. Either that, or they’re filing a restraining order against Lorenzo Cain and Jackie Bradley Jr.

At least they have a sense of humor about it.
