Odell Beckham Jr.'s injury gave everyone a chance to vent about the preseason

New, comments

The football season stood still for a second.

In a preseason game against the Browns, Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. caught a pass and then took a helmet to the knee.

He was able to walk a considerable distance to the locker room before the doctor reached him.

After being checked out by the medical staff, it was determined that Beckham has a sprained ankle.

Players and fans alike had something to say about the injury — both about the fact that it happened to Beckham and that it happened in the preseason.

Jarvis Landry, Dolphins wide receiver and Beckham's college teammate, made his feelings about the preseason clear.

Mike Vick also saw the hit.

So did Arian Foster.

Eddie Royal, a fellow wide receiver in the league, is not a fan of low hits.

Greg Jennings thinks that’s the last time we should see Odell in the preseason.

Le’Veon Bell also thought the hit was dirty.
