The Pittsburgh Steelers may be without first-round rookie T.J. Watt for a while after the linebacker suffered a groin injury Sunday. At first he was listed questionable to return to the Week 2 game against the Minnesota Vikings. He has since been declared out.
Watt didn’t do much to appear in the box score prior to his departure, only assisting on a pair of tackles for the team. A week ago, he made a big impact for the team with two sacks and an interception — something not even his decorated brother J.J. Watt has ever done in a game with the Houston Texans.
Without Watt, the Steelers should probably be just fine against the Vikings. Minnesota turned to Case Keenum as a starter due to a knee problem for Sam Bradford.
