Browns fans’ 0-16 parade raised $17,157 in donations for food bank

At least something good came out of the 0-16 season.

Remember when the Cleveland Browns finished 0-16? It was a special moment in history, and Browns fans rightfully took to the streets in celebration.

OK, they weren’t actually celebrating, but fans still threw a parade to mark the ignominious occasion. There was a fair bit of debate as to whether people should attend, but ultimately, around 2,500 to 3,200 showed up in downtown Cleveland.

It wasn’t all doom and gloom, though — fans were also there for a good cause, donating well over $17,000 to the local food bank.

So at least something nice came out of this miserable season. In the meantime, Browns fans will just have to wait until next year, like they’ve done every year since coming back in 1999. They’ll take any positive news they can get.
