There were 10 NBA games on Friday night, and even though things started out a bit slow, they definitely picked up as the night raged on. Here’s what you missed if you were out in the awful weather.
The Timberwolves and Jazz got chippy
Jeff Teague took his late-game frustrations out by shoulder-tackling Ricky Rubio while he was pushing the ball in transition. That led to an exchange that got Jae Crowder and Tom Thibodeau double teched and brought Jimmy Butler to his team’s defense on Twitter.

Russell Westbrook and Devin Booker went at it
Westbrook nearly had a 40-point triple-double, and the Thunder needed every bit of it to survive the lowly Suns’ attempt at an upset. He and Booker went tit-for-tat much of the night.

Booker scored 39 points against the Thunder. In doing so, he became the third youngest player behind LeBron James and Kevin Durant to score 4,000 points.
The Warriors are shutting Stephen Curry down as a precaution
Steph Curry tweaked his ankle in the second quarter of the Warriors-Hawks matchup on Friday night, and even though he wanted to go back into the game, Steve Kerr and the coaching staff decided to keep him out as a precautionary measure.

How serious is his ankle injury? Well, according to ESPN’s Chris Haynes, Curry and a few of his teammates are planning to golf at Augusta on Saturday. His ankle must be fine.
Sounds like @StephenCurry30 ankle is OK. @ChrisBHaynes just reported on @SportsCenter he's planning to play at Augusta tomorrow with some teammates.

The Bucks have lost four in a row
And five of their last six games. Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 27 points, 10 rebounds and five assists per game, but some of the other pieces just aren’t fitting together. Milwaukee has some time to get it together, and hopefully Jabari Parker’s return helps them get back on track.
The Bulls couldn’t capitalize when the Mavericks were missing a player

This was bad.
Other things that happened
- Karl-Anthony Towns picked up his first career ejection for ... what?
- Eric Bledsoe made a ridiculous pass

Warriors 114, Hawks 109
Bulls 108, Mavericks 100
Pacers 103, Bucks 96
Thunder 124, Suns 116
