Kim Miale saw yet another of her clients drafted into the NFL when Saquon Barkley heard his name called at No. 2. When the former Penn State running back was selected second overall in the 2018 draft, he became the highest drafted player to be represented by a female agent, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell. Earlier this year, it was announced that Barkley would be signing with Jay Z’s Roc Nation and would be represented by Miale.

Miale already held the record for most top 10 picks represented by a female agent over the course of her career and tonight’s draft added another historic accomplishment to her resume. She’s previously represented Todd Gurley and Leonard Fournette, both top-10 picks and legitimate NFL stars. Barkley is her fourth top 10 pick in the past four years, according to Sports Business Journal.
Before the draft, Miale had this to say about Barkley’s future and potential impact on whatever team he joined.
“He is a transformational player who can go in, contribute on day one, whereas with a quarterback there may be some time where they have to develop. I do think he has a real chance at No. 1.”
According to Forbes, Miale joined Roc Nation in 2013 from Madison Avenue Sports and Entertainment. The boutique sports firm has done a good job of picking up several top prospects in each draft and Miale has been a huge part of their success over the past five years.
