Brad Wing and Nicki Minaj are still cool, as evidenced by his appearance in her new music video

Oh, and Odell Beckham is in it too. But that’s not what’s important here.

Nicki Minaj’s video for “Bed” is out, a song featuring Ariana Grande that’s a big ol’ summer mood. It’s set in a location that looks like one of those vacation spots you could only dream of: Crystal clear water, the bluest skies, and perfect ocean waves while feenin’ for somebody.

The song is about (as the hook makes incredibly clear) a bed with somebody’s name on it. During the final chorus of the song, Nicki and Ariana are waving to two people, who turn out to be none other than Giants wideout Odell Beckham Jr. and free agent punter Brad Wing:

lol ayee wyd?

And, in case you were wondering, Wing has come with chocolate-covered strawberries:

thought that was bieber at first ngl!

OBJ’s probably not a huge surprise to appear in a music video to the casual fan. He’s one of the biggest names in the NFL, on and off the field. But if you know Wing’s history, his appearance shouldn’t be a surprise either.

Wing shouted out Nicki on Instagram last year, which prompted her to reply to his post. She said he could expect a shout out of his own on June 30. And he would get one, on her song “Skrt On Me” with Calvin Harris, where Nicki says, “And I’m playing on the field, Brad Wing in the punt.”

Athletes have been in music videos for years now. Michael Jackson brought out Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson in the past, Nelly has always been a big fan of Julius Peppers, P. Diddy brought out Shaq in “Bad Boy For Life,” LeBron James was in Jay-Z’s “D.O.A.”, among many others.

But right now, nobody’s got it better than Wing. Perhaps being a free agent isn’t the worst thing in the world right now, if it means he gets to be in a Nicki Minaj video.
