The Chanticleers -- "shahn-ti-cleer", Chanticleer, it's a rooster -- are dancing for the second straight season after a 21-year- gap between tourney trips. The Chants have been lucky enough to host the Big South tourney at the spankin' new HTC Center the last few years, and the home-court advantage has paid off. They actually gave 1-seeded UVA a run for their money last year.

Style of play: Chanticlearing the boards

The Chants are top-50 nationally in both offensive rebound percentage and defensive rebound percentage, and led the Big South in both categories. That said, they accomplished that against relatively small opponents with a 6'7 center and a 6'7 power forward -- might not work against big-time opponents.

Key player: Hibachi

It's obvious 6'3 senior Warren Gillis models himself after Gilbert Arenas -- he wears the number zero, and his twitter handle "@hibachi_000" reflects Arenas' self-anointed nickname. He's the same height as Arenas, but is a bit more prone to bodying up and a bit less willing to shoot. The Philly native had 22 points in Coastal's deciding A-Sun championship win.

The world's most interesting coach

Cliff Ellis has done a lot of things. He's won 175 games at Clemson, 175 games at Auburn. He's farmed ostriches. He's released a book about coaching with his favorite recipes in it. And in the 1960s, he was the lead singer in a beach music group called "The Villagers," and did recordings with Etta James and other notables. He gave up music for coaching, and then gave up retirement for coaching CCU.
